What are you a messenger for?

This powerful passage comes from the book Medicine Cards by Jamie Sams & David Carson. I opened to this page after seeing three hawks soar above me. Here’s what they inspired me to share with you:

With each new moon take some extra time for quietude, to rest and slow down. Heighten and widen your senses, your antennas of awareness, and look (around, above, and below) to see what magical messages nature is sending you... Honor all forms of Great Spirit; plants, insects, birds, humans, clouds, angels, demons, the seen and the unseen, the “other side”…

Attune to signs, symbols, signals, and omens. Use your intuition and introspection. Listen and seek the truth.

Rise above, soar high, and circle around yourself and your life. What do you see from this higher perspective?

Are there any plans of action that need revision?

What new aspirations and sincere intentions can you set?
