Four Countries in One Day

The first three are logical, the fourth needs to cross a vast ocean. Magical travel to the USA in Europe.

We are having a small holiday in Corona-times. My mum’s world (she’s 85) is becoming smaller by the day, so we thought: let’s find some quiet place to be together for a bit and create some active inspiration.

So we walked small bits with my mum. Sat together on terraces. And we even met friends who had the same idea as we had. Cycling and walking and clearing our heads.

Life is good taking it slow.

New energy can come into my body and soul.

In the Dutch mountains. For those of you who have never visited our lowland country, it’s meant to be kind of ironic. Our country is just one big valley with rivers.

A large part of our country is below sea level. And lots of space in our country has been created by pumping the water away and drying the land.

Our ‘mountains’ consist of a small part in the utmost south that is 322.4 meters (1,058 ft) above sea level. It’s the only hilly part of our country, aside from some sea and river dunes here and there.
