A little success

A little success can bring the morale upwards. It has been a long time since I felt that I have achieved anything. How have I lived this way for so long? I don’t know where to even begin, but all I know is that in contrast to the highest expectations that I’ve always had of myself, in spite of the brilliance and the talent that apparently I showed in my very early years as a child and even up till my teenage years, I don’t feel that I have achieved much in life. My journey has been quite unique, and I have to remind myself everyday those very same words when I see people that at my age seem to have quite a privileged life. I can’t help but to compare myself to others and always feel shortchanged, disadvantaged, ripped off, left out, but the very same circumstances that lead me today to feel that way also make me feel very lucky, because with unluckiness it comes no expectation, so I do feel like even the smallest achievements seem rewarding. I want to share my story and to many may sound miserable, I am sorry if you feel that way, I don’t mean to make you feel pity or depressed, I want to inspire you, because out of all this madness and sadness this story is embedded in there is also hope and happiness, so hopefully you will stick around long enough to get to know me and to learn to love me, because I am not only me, I am you, I am everybody, I am every human being in this planet. I want to inspire you and help you identify your unique resources to make the most and enjoy the best you can your journey, because you are unique, wonderful, existent and you deserve it, it is your right, because in your world, in your journey, you’re a winner, you’re the winner, you’re the best asset and main character of your own story, no one else. So don’t change the focus of your live on someone else’s life, until you’ve achieved everything you want to achieve, because you deserve to invest that time in yourself and no one else, you deserve that care and love and nurturing and you’ll be amazed of what you’ll be able to give back when you’ve refilled your self fulfilment tank. You will see amazing results. Do not underestimate the power of love, the power of self love.
